The only other Thai food I've had in Providence is from Heng's, so I decided to compare my experience by also ordering the chicken pad thai.
Noodles: I prefer these! They were less sweet and nicely complimented by the slice of lime that came with them
Chicken: This was some pretty normal chicken, and I prefer it to be crunchier and crispier *cough* Heng's *cough*
A friend and I came here on a Monday afternoon so it wasn't crowded at all. The only trouble we had was trying to leave and pay- since we were one of two tables eating, the staff stayed in the back a lot so it was a bit difficult to get ahold of them. Other than that, it was a small cute place and I had a nice meal! Would go again :) -

Yummy authenic Thai food. It's a small, small restaurant with tables very close together. This restaurant is also BYOB. Ordered Thai coffee and green curry. Sooo good! Reminded me of travels in Thailand. Curry was a good portion, just right and a good price. No matter what you order here, uou will be happy. So good!

We really wanted Thai for dinner on a Friday night in late June ('18), but it was sooo late (meaning 9p, RI time), that we knew our options would be limited especially since we did not want to feel rushed.
So, sawaddee we ventured to, in the hopes that we would find a gem. The place is EXTREMELY small which may equate to intimate in some settings, but cramped in others.
When we arrived the three spacious booths available were already occupied so we had to sit at a table. Negative:The first was one by the window, which just would not have worked for anyone older than five. Also, because it was summer the weather was HOT. Negative: the A/C (which was a window unit built into the wall) was not operating correctly. All of that aside...we were starving and not willing to drive anywhere else, so we stayed. The food made up for the negatives (save the fact there is no alcohol:((. The spring rolls were fresh and crisp. The chef's suggestion (special) that I had was amazing and still good the next day!
The BF finished his Thai Style Sweet and Sour Chicken and was happy with the meal despite the other issues.
This place is probably good to use for takeout. -

Tom Kha soup with shrimp was a really good version of this classic...but the first lunch special listed, the cashew chicken, looked a little tired on delivery. The taste was ok but a little bland, and really heavy on the veg compared to the light presence of chicken. Based on the phone and foot traffic, they do a booming business in takeout. Maybe it helps to be a regular.

This place was a little lacklustre for me. I ordered a pad Thai to go, but unfortunately it tasted very bland, the meat was a bit dry, and definitely not flavourful enough, which is a shame, because my favourite thing about pad thais are their strong sweet and sour flavour.
